Small Change was developed by a former Kindergarten teacher and mom of two young boys who wanted her sons to grow up learning to care for others and taking action to make a difference. In March 2008 we received our 501(c)3 status and can accept tax deductible donations. The three founding board members (all of whom had young children ranging from 18 months to 5 years in age) and an exceptional group of advisers joined together to create programs that help Small Change teach young children about giving and serving in their community. We are now happy to announce the addition of three new talented and committed board members who bring lots of great ideas and skill to Small Change.
