Start at home!  Getting involved can be as simple as talking to children about community, what it means to help, and how they can contribute.  The activities below  are a fun way to approach certain topics and begin teaching about civic responsibility, diversity and compassion.  Invite children to talk about their own thoughts, feelings and ideas.  Encourage children use their own talents and follow their hearts to help others.
